  • On 23 October 2021, Fosun International Limited (HKEX stock code: 00656), together with its subsidiaries ("Fosun International", or the "Company") held the "Fosun Open Day – Wonderful Tour of Lijiang" investor open day at Club Med Lijiang, guiding investors to experience and learn more about the operational achievements, core competitiveness, future development of the Company and its member companies of  the Happiness segment and synergies within ONE Fosun's ecosystem. During the Q&A session, the management listened attentively and learned from the suggestions and demands of the capital market on the Company's development, thereby effectively strengthened the communication between the two parties and enhanced the Company's transparency.

    The investor open day was hosted by Fosun International and co-organized by its member companies of theHappiness segment, such as Fosun Tourism, Yuyuan Inc., Shede Spirits and Jinhui Liquor. A total of more than 40 analysts and fund managers from Bosera Funds, Win Integrity Investment, CICC, and China Securities Investment, etc. participated in this tour.

    At the event, Zhang Houlin, Senior Vice President and Co-CFO of Fosun International, introduced the latest operational achievements of Fosun International's member companies and the Group's ESG achievements. He said that Fosun has focused its industry operations on the integration of family users from various industrial segments. Fosun aims to connect one billion family users around the world from different fields and build a FC2Mhappinessecosystem centered on family customers.

    At present, the FC2M ecosystem has been implemented in numerous fields such as medical services, health management, pharmaceutical distribution, rehabilitation andseniorcare, financial management, fashion and entertainment, quality consumption, and has achieved fruitful results.Mr. Zhang emphasized that Fosun International has always adhered to theprinciple of value creation, actively participated in national development, continuously improved corporate governance, improved the quality of information disclosure, and made steady progress in operating performance. In the future, the Company will provide more targeted products through the platform to realize the "ecosystem multiplier effect" between industries.

    The investor open day was held at Club Med Lijiang. Club Med Lijiang, together with FOLIDAY Town and Lijiang have formed a collaborative ecosystem. The FOLIDAY Town, which includes a Club Med resort, has injected scarce high-endtourism products to Lijiang, attracting consumers such as foreign residents and globetrotters. On the other hand, the provision of tourism product has also brought changes to the lives of locals. In the resort, a large number of local workers are employed, apart from the international G.O team. As a global enterprise, Fosun Tourism has been committed to promoting the development of local communities where it operates. It believes that regional development first results from changes in people, not just changes in economic levels, but also changes in spirit.

    Xu Bingbin,Executive President and Co-CFO of Fosun Tourism, and CEO of Club Med China, said "The formation of a complete ecosystem with the local area means integration and coordinated development with the local area. As a resort operator, the first thing we need to do is to ensure the leisure function of the resort itself, and to ensure that the food and beverage, accommodation, shopping, and entertainment services provided are in line with consumers' preferences and habits. By the end of 2023, Club Med will further expand and open 16 new resorts globally, eight of which will be located in Chinese Mainland, in order to maximize the expansion of domestic and overseas markets and be well prepared for the market boom when the tourism industry recovers in the future.

    On the day of the event, senior executives of Yuyuan Inc., Shede Spirits and Jinhui Liquor also introduced their respective business development. Yuan Gang, Assistant President of Yuyuan Jewelry and Fashion Group, Qu Lina, Assistant President of Yuyuan Beauty Health, Vice President of Cosmetics, Brand General Manager and Sales General Manager of AHAVA China introduced the operation and development of Yuyuan jewelry and cosmetics, and gave an outline of its future development.

    Representatives of Shede Spirits and Jinhui Liquor gave an in-depth presentation ontheirthird-quarter performance and the development of related products respectively. Guo Qiang,Sales &Marketing General Manager of the Shede Spirits Southwest China, stated that Shede Spirits' revenue in the first three quarters doubled year-on-year, and net profit excluding the minority interests increased by 233.1% year-on-year. Since 2021, Shede Spirits has vigorously implemented the old spirit strategy and the dual-brand strategy of "Shede as the Core, Tuopai as the Focus", comprehensively strengthened production and marketing management, set itself on the path to high-quality and sustainable development, and achieved great results.


    Ren Suiqiang, Manager of the securities and legal department of Jinhui Liquor, also shared the company's third quarter performance. The net profit attributable to the parent increased by 53%, of which the growth rate of high-end liquor revenue exceeded 40%. Under the "twin-driver" of distributors and direct sales channels, Jinhui Liquor is releasing new growth momentum, promoting continuous improvement of operating margins, while seizing market opportunities, accelerating the creation of brand IP, and opening up the circle of products and leveraging on Fosun's ecosystem to further expand sales markets geographically and enhance brand competitiveness and influence.

    On the day of the event, investors visited saleable properties in FOLIDAY Town, Club Med resort and snow mountain lakeside area, fully experienced Fosun's synergistic operational achievements, and conducted in-depth exchanges with the management to truly understand the operating model of Fosun Tourism and Club Med. Through this event, investors have experienced firsthand the efforts of Fosun International and its member companies of theHappiness segment to "create a happy life for hundreds of millions of families", and affirmed Fosun's leading development philosophy.
